Concert by the folk-music group Nordic will take place on 4 November, 19.00 in the Riga Art Space. Nordic is a folk music band from Sweden with comprehensive expertise in the folk music genre. In their quest for new forms of expression the trio freely embarks on experiments, which leads to impressive music compositions with an explicit feel of groove and reggae both in terms of tone and rhythm. An unusual combination of instruments  imbues the band’s musical performance with a distinct sound and their improvisation sets gather the highest mark of originality.

The band’s enthusiasm and stage charm have brought it considerable success both in Sweden and abroad. In 2010 the band managed to perform in Sweden, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Norway. The folk-band Nordic consists of Anders Löfberg – cello, Magnus Zetterlund – mandolin, Erik Rydvall – keyfiddle.
